Two others were with her, shuffling manacled along the corridor until another door swung shut behind them. The priest was there again, but Lizzie paid him no mind as he administered last rights to the condemned. One of the men with her sobbed, the other cursed God and the priest both. Elizabeth was silent; her salvation lay in another’s hands - in the conniving, clever hands of Captain Jack Sparrow, and in him she had more faith than the priest’s God had ever deserved.
Why I Fangirl this: I am a hardcore J/E fan, and I've always loved the idea of Elizabeth actually having a life as a pirate after the end of AWE.
