Since I've had a little time on my hands (and also since I love love love more information on the ever-mysterious pasts of Alexei, Schwann, Yeager, and Duke), I did a few Tales-related translations.
The first is a transliteration of the lyrics of Inori no Kanata, the theme for one of the previews of the Tales of Symphonia Tethe'alla arc. I thought the song was absolutely beautiful, so I had to transliterate it for anyone else who wanted lyrics.
Note: there's some gibberish in this song that is not in English or Japanese, so I'm not going to post my pitiful transliteration of that part. If anybody wants it though, I'll put it up!

Second, I found scans on the internet from a guidebook on Tales of Vesperia, and there was a section in it about the Great War! Having always wanted a little more clarification on this, I translated it.
Synopsis of the Great War
What we know as the "Great War" is generally understood as the time when monsters attacked humans, and the battles between them. However, in reality, the war was a series of confrontations between the moderates who supported the humans and the Entelexeia radicals who attempted to destroy the Blastia. The revival and expansion of blastia culture continued-when a new model of high output blastia developed by the Krityan researcher Hermes began to be mass-produced by the empire, however, the anger of the radical group that feared the disturbance of the aer reached its peak. The leader of the Entelexeia and the moderate faction, Elucifur, and his friend Duke defeated the radical leaders in the end. However, the Empire did not disclose the existence of the Entelexeia to the public, and the only information on the Great War made public was that the monsters left behind by the radicals were taking human lives and that, in the end, the humans prevailed. Consequently, the true story of the struggle of the Entelexeia surrounding the blastia cannot be told, it is only called the Great War.
And the Leviathan's Claw blurb: "The outward appearance is of a weapons dealer centered in Dahngrest. The true nature of the guild is shrouded in secrecy: it is a remarkable assassin's guild."
WHICH IS ACTUALLY REALLY HELPFUL BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT IT. It's like 'okay, so he's a weapons dealer? then what's with all the knife guys WHO ARE CLEARLY ASSASSINS' So I hope this clears that up for other people too.
Preview of the next section, which goes more in-depth on Raven and Yeager's pacemaker blastia (which apparently have their own specific name, like barrier and Hermes-it's called a Kadis blastia):
Most of the Imperial Knights worked under the rule of Emperor Krunos and Alexei's orders, so even though the Hermes blastia were the origin of the war, they were used in the front lines of combat. However, their numerical inferiority caused tension from the start of the war.
