CHALLENGE 22 ILLUSTRATE A SONG
Fandom: Maurice (film based on the novel by E. M. Forster)
Shelter
spoilers for the whole Maurice/Alec plot

A/N: I love the book. I love the film. I love this pairing. It's also the film that Made Me Crush On Rupert Graves Like There Is No Tomorrow. Seriously. I also love this song. I think it kind of fits them, especially Maurice.
Beware of image heavyness, of not so great lighting in certain caps and of...oh hey! I didn't even go into a very deep essay on how amazing their last scene in the film is!! That scene always gets me raving, but not this time. Now just lie back, everyone, listen to the song, and enjoy the story of Maurice Hall and Alec Scudder. And Rupert Graves' curls. Damn it. I might even be writing fic. Five years after I first read the book. Er.

-The scenes are not in chronological order, I've tried to follow the song.
-Cover art texture made by zeldona.

I find shelter, in this way
Under cover, hide away
Can you hear, when I say
I have never felt this way

Maybe I had said something that was wrong,
Can I make it better with the lights turned on?

Could I be, was I there?
It felt so crystal in the air
I still want to drown whenever you leave
Please teach me gently how to breathe

Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on?

And I'll cross oceans like never before
So you can feel the way I feel it too
And I'll mirror images back at you
So you can see the way I feel it too
