an observation
on a odd thing about the Castle fandom and fanfiction...
They're in love with the present perfect, sometimes annoyingly so and sometimes it's an unhealthy kind of love that knows no boundaries, or the past participle for that matter.
But it is odd isn't it? they barely use your regular and much more simple, erm... simple past. Maybe it's something that someone started and caught on like syphilis or Buffy "Elizabeth" Summers. Maybe the authors feel it is more dramatic that way? like that's how they feel Castle and Beckett talk when they're not building theory...
As a said, just an observation. I'm not even gonna start on the return of the word 'defiantly' to my life.
