A very belated day in my life

Aug 10, 2007 18:53

I'd forgotten about this! I took pics of a day in my life on May 2nd, when I still lived in Torremolinos and we (our Latin class, the Latin&Greek teacher, and a few schoolmates from the year below ours) came to Málaga and visited the Contemporary Arts Centre to see a giant baby. We then went to see a theatre play by Plautus. It rained most of the day :D
ETA: hiro_chan, I think you'll like 2 pics in this post ;); and I know the size kind of kills some words I've written *pout*

Waking up...why do my eyes always look yellow? And yes, I was poking myself in the cheek with that. I'd just woken up:P

The time...it says 7:33

...bedhead...*scream*

No, I'm not impressed by spots provoked by PMS and teenage. I'm also not impressed with this toothpaste.

My hair now looks a bit more civilised...just a bit.

Computer on...no Internet, though *pout*

Clothes for the day.

My desktop...no, I'm not obsessed :P Now I have a field of poppies, and before that I had Paris :P

Road to school! I was very squeeful about the rain...

Road to school 2

Road to school 3...this is the street my school's on :P and yes, I was trying to make a decent photo but then I saw a classmate staring at me and I quickly tried to be discreet...this happened.

This is me, scary-killer-face, in Latin class.

The play we're going to see later.

Ale hiding behind the history textbook.

View towards the school gym and the path to the football court.

Ale, the image of frustration as he tries to make sense of what the Orange operator is telling him. We're now on our way to the train station.

I didn't manage to take any pics on the train, because Ale made me laugh all the 10 mins we were in irt. Here we are already at the CAC. I don't remember the titles of most of the artwork, may the authors forgive me.

A love cloth :P

A painting....modern style. Oh, and the pics are really bad because they didn't allow le little flash.

Women with red lips.

Girl on a Waterloo poster.

Shards of a broken mirror and a stair...I actually liked this one ^^

Photo of a Buddhist monk. It was a photo montage, and the writings on his forehead got thicker and thicker in every photo until his face was black...

Man with his head in his hands.

A set table..and football!!

Topless.

A.M.E.R.I.C.A

A cross which reads Father.

Vanessa: Blonde, green eyes, silky skin, very beautiful, elegant, kinky, likes to give herselg up completely. 125 Euros. Luxury apartment. (That's what it says:P)

Now this is entitled "The French parliament voting for gay marriage". A detail.

The perfume of sanctity. *rofl*

Girl with red cloth.

Solitude (?!)

Arabian bar.

Nothing's worth it in the world; everything's useful.

The masterpiece of the expo: the Giant Baby.

A coloured mosaique.

Generic violence.

This is called Spain:P

OK. I liked this one, too.

Another painting.

Blue painting, another personal favourite.

Out of the CAC, and...into the rain!! I had borrowed some girls my umbrella, and Ale's umbrella had been taken by the teachers because they thought he'd left it behind even though they actually left before us. This is on our way to the bookstore where the teachers were.

Under the rain 2

A bus.

A narrow street.

Bad Food :P (we'd finally recuperated the umbrella)

A tree on the Alameda (main street of Málaga)

Flower shops on the Alameda.

Bridge.

Palm Trees.

Flowers.

Map of Málaga.

Sightseeing bus.

Clouds.

Tourist info.

An old house.

A parish, on our way to the Conservatory where we would see the play.

The Alcazaba, 14th Century Muslim fortress on top of that hill.

Seminary in the Conservatory.

Time check. A quarter to four.

Ale hiding in the conservatory's cafeteria.

A few pics taken of the stage and of the play, when it started. It seems we weren't allowed to take pics, but I was the only one admonished for it when I was taking the third pic (artistic, isn't it?). There were others making more photos, flashes and all.

Old Theatre Square.

Church of Martyrs.

Church of San Juan de Dios (St John of God)

Green light towards Hope Bridge (Puente de la Esperanza)

Stair towards train. This is not an underground, it only has two underground stations.

See?:P

A snapshot from the train of a depressing neighbourhood...maybe it was just all the grey...

This is La Colina, where my school is. Home is half an hour away :D

Part of a big house in La Colina.

Crawling uphill home. By that point, I was very wet and very tired.

Sis...looking a bit drunk. She'd made a mess of my bed, as per usual.

My cat Kita.

Another timecheck.

My roommate.

Love the book chaos. Most were from the library.

Liverpool vs. Man United had started.

A rather late Dinner/Tea.

Watched a bit of D/ld Grey's.

Addie.

Bit of studying Art History.

Bit of reading from my shiny brand new Ancient History of Egypt book.

Karnak.

Bit of reading Ladrón de Tumbas (Tomb raider), a Spanish novel.

Me thinking.

Setting the alarm 1.

Setting the alarm 2.

Last timecheck...bit early for me, but I was shattered.

Night!
