Technical difficulties
I found my tuner this week, so my guitars are finally in tune again. However, funny noises are coming out of my amp and I'm not sure if it's the amp, the cable or the guitar that's causing it.
I got a bunch of ska cds from Asian Man Records last week as part of their Ska Deal Numbero Tres. I also got some stuff from them that wasn't part of the deal, but cheap nonetheless.
Meanwhile, I've been listening to alot of Pink Lady and Candies, but I can't decide which group I like better. I think I know more Pink Lady songs thanks to a couple covers by Go! Go! 7188 and Yukino's preoccupation with one of their songs. As for Candies, I first heard one of their songs while watching "Kekkon Shiyou Yo" on the plane, as it was covered by by one of the characters' band (played by the Nakanomori Band), but didn't know it was them until months later. Since then, I've been finding more of their music and liking it.
Here's a video I found of the two groups doing a medley of their songs (Candies is up first).
There's a weird edit during the first transition that might not bother you, but if you know the song "Pepper Keibu" you'll know exactly which part is missing. Only one version of this video on youtube has the unedited part and it can be seen below. However, it is missing the second half of the medley, which is also annoying. Anyway...
