Sex and the City is an American television romantic sitcom created by Darren Star. It ran from 1998 until 2004, the original run of the show had a total of 94 episodes and it's also based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell. Also making two feature films, Sex and the City (2008) and its sequel Sex and the City 2 (2010), and a prequel series by The CW, The Carrie Diaries.
Set and filmed in New York City, the show follows the lives of a group of four women who share a close bond and are inseparable despite their different natures. The show is based around sexuality, promiscuity and femininity.
The Sex and the City board opened in 2004, the same year as the show ending.
