Supernatural Fics
Hi, first post here, so I hope I did this all right.
Anyway, all of these are 'Supernatural' Dean/Castiel fics (though some might have a hint of Sam/Dean) I read once and was never able to find again. Hopefully all y'all can help. :)
The first starts out with Castiel showing up in the hotel room where Dean is watching 'Lilo and Stitch', cue a conversation about why Dean likes "faerie tales" when he knows they don't exist. There's also a line in this fic (near the end, I believe) about Castiel realizing God didn't choose Dean because it was his destiny, but because of Dean's power to change destiny.
The second is possibly a multi-part fanfiction. I believe it was written before the episode "The Rapture" as it deals with who exactly Castiel is wearing and it's revealed that the Host use to be in love with a male post office worker with green eyes and a dusting of freckles across his nose (though the postal worker didn't love him back, I don't think they had even talked). These was a part near the end, I believe where Castiel goes on heavenly business while his Host (takes Dean and) goes back home to see his wife and kids. In the end Dean realizes The Host wasn't chosen because he prayed to be saved/used, but because he prayed (though maybe he wasn't aware of it) for Dean, for someone with green eyes and freckles whom he could love and who would love him back.
The third I can't remember much about except that I believe it also contained some Sam/Ruby, mostly followed Sam and had (at least a hint of) a battle at the end between the Angels and the Demons with Sam as the Anti-Christ and Dean as The Second Coming.
Also I don't know if this is contained in any of the aforementioned fics, but if you know where the line: "It felt like staring into the heart of the sun and going blind with happiness" came from I'd love to have that too. Thanks!
