Asterix/Obelix OPT: does it exist??
I have been indulging my nostalgia and zipped through a dozen Asterix and Obelix books for the first time since I was a kid. It didn't take much for the slash goggles to descend. I guess I was too young to realize OTP when I last read these books!
- Obelix lives with Asterix (even if he has his own house)
- the pair have have breakup fights ALL THE TIME before they run weeping into each other's arms, apologizing
- they care for a baby together (and let me tell you the scenes with the villagers blaming Asterix for sleeping with some floozy in Asterix and Son is TO DIE FOR)
- everyone in the village and all the surrounding Roman encampments expect them to be together
- Obelix always runs to Asterix for help, and Asterix always helps (even if it is about a girl ;)
I found nothing on google, but I'm not very well connected. Has anyone if (and where) Asterix/Obelix slash might be found?
