looking for a star wars prequels canon divergence au i read once.
someone (maybe obi-wan?) gets suspicious of palpatine's relationship with anakin, figuring out he’s grooming him but guessing wrong what for. obi-wan and someone else have a conversation about it and then talk to anakin, who gets upset they would accuse palpatine of that at first but then realizes it makes sense. i think then they start trying to plan what to do? but i can’t remember anything else. i’m pretty sure it was gen or pre-padme/anakin, definitely not anakin/obi-wan.
