Have you read Stop Whispering by Geekwriter? It's the aftermath of "Grave Danger" from Mrs Stokes point of view and it's Nick/Greg. It's rather short, but one of my favorites N/G fics.

Oh, oh my. There's a lot of hurt (and extreme graphic violence, including rape and torture - beware of that and don't read or read through your fingers, if necessary) and a lot of comfort (and slashy goodness, which is in my opinion so wonderfully good, that I take the abuse to the characters squinting through my fingers, sometimes skipping paragraphs, because omg the pay-off is HUGE and the subject matter never treated carelessly, imo) here. You know these? If not, my favourites involving Greg are

G2 by Kat Reitz and Perryvic, Gil Grissom/Greg Sanders, NC-17, 249.433 words. Should I warn for this? I think I should. Warning: MPreg. And it works. I love Catherine in this.

Waters by Kat Reitz and Tzigane, Gil Grissom/Greg Sanders, NC-17, 202.649 words. This is a crossover/fusion (I don't know the right term) with Manhunter, where Grissom's past comes back to haunt him. On the edge of my seat I was for this one. Though there is Sarah-not-loving here; I don't know whether it qualifies as bashing, but I sure don't like her here.

Greg first meets Gil at a crime scene when he's a kid. Lots of h/c but not necessarily in the traditional sense.
