PotC - Jack Sparrow's childhood
I'm looking for a Jack Sparrow origin story. It was a long time ago that I last read it, and I remember that it was on ff.net. It might have been taken down, for all I know. I only remember a few of the details, and they are:
. 1. Jack's mother was a pirate, and his bandana comes from her.
2. He had a tutor - a lady who had known his mother, and might have been a pirate as well.
3. At one point Jack finds himself in a pirate tavern, where his tutor is telling stories about his mother - who was a famous pirate.
4. Jack and his tutor are on a ship, and she teaches him about sailing it.
5. Jack's father is very strict, and at one point burns a book of Jack's because it had to do with sea creatures. Jack burns his hands rescuing it from the fire.
6. The story features a young Anamaria.
That's all I can remember. I really, really want to read this story again, and I would very much appreciate it if someone could find it for me.
