Hello is this still alive ? I have a little problem, did a big update on calibre (didn't do it for one or two years) and now my templat for calibre
look and feel is gone. Is the old template from amothea still up to date or are there newer ones somewhere ?
Thanks in advance.

When you say Template do you mean the Fanfiction download plugin information or the conversion settings?
Can you take a screenshot of the settings you're missing and share it here? I can send you my settings to help you out but I need more details as to what is missing.

My question is, is there something newer around or do I go with the Settings from the tutorial ?
It's no Problem, I mess around with them to get the right Fonts and so for my eyes and my kindle when there is no newer Setting.

I think my tutorial may be out of date if the settings box is no longer where it was before.
I add my conversion settings through Preferences --> Conversion area --> Common Options button --> Look and Feel --> Styling tab --> Extra CSS box.
I hope this helps.

When I download fanfic files -- either directly from AO3 as ePub or using the fanfic downloader plugin -- the files display in my eBook reader (Marvin 3) with no indent and space between paragraphs. Most commercial books display with indented first lines and no space between paragraphs, which is my strong preference.
Back when I was using Stanza, it was able to override the download settings and enforce my preferences, but Marvin doesn't seem to have that capability.
Is there any simple way to make that change, either in Calibre or possibly in Sigil, though I'm not at all comfortable using that.
Thanks for any help!

Are you using the FanFicFare plugin in Calibre? If so, when you download fanfiction using that plugin you can have your css settings inserted into the ebook.
