hey Do you mind helping me? I copied some of your personalizations and they are working great. But I have trouble figuring something something out.

The Fandom become "Genre" in my calibre, but I can't figure out how to get it to work ... do you mind helping some halpless user out ?

thanks
Peggy

Sure, can you share your current settings? it may help me pinpoint what's going on. No need to share login details, just the code.

Hello,

Nope the cats, fandom should be put into genre ... example for a teen Wolf Fiction, the Genre should be Teen Wolf and I still have the (TV) ... behind, think I forgot something :(

Hi are you adding a space before the code?

huh yes there's a small space before. Shouldn't there be ?

Yes the space is required. If it is missing the code won't work.

So to clarify the tag column is not converting Teen wolf (TV) to plain Teen Wolf? I am confused about the genre aspect of your question. :( my code only took the fandom and cleaned them up before inserting the fandom in the tag column. If you want genres you should make a genre custom column and select genre from the options in the FFDL custom column settings.

My code if you copied it exactly should strip everything that is not a fandom for the tag column.
