LJ's new change to comments

I've been reading up on the changes to the comments and it looks like there may be a fix to show subject headings but you have to have a paid or plus account for it to work. I have neither. So it is highly unlikely that subject headers for comments will be coming back to this community on LJ

I think this comm functions pretty well without the subject lines, just because most of the time the entries have been pretty specific.

I was sort of thinking the same thing. I'm just not sure how much of the fandom LJ community will shift over to Dreamwidth. I know I for one am not happy that I have to refresh the page in order to post regular comments and then refresh again to see my comment. It's annoying and weird and not at all pleasant and easy to use.

I suspect a lot of people will switch. I'm a paid user, so I still see things pretty much all right, but the indignation over at the news post goes on for a ridiculous number of pages.

I think the biggest change is for anyone that is a big fan of the anon meme fic communities. Thousands of fans use these communities. I know for myself I follow the norsekink meme, two young justice meme, and the avengers kink meme. Right now none of these places are navigable. I also do not know if the community moderators will be able to fix it.

Not to mention that I've tried replying to your comment and it took me about five different tries.
