New fic for discussion in honor of Women's History Month - A Mirror For Observers by Ivorygates
Sorry for the delay in posting the next fic selection- RL was a little all consuming for me last month but better late than never! gelbes_gilatier suggested we honor Women's History Month in March with our choice for the next story to discuss and read. However, there are so many wonderful stories about kickass women and women's issues that we didn't want to choose just one. So we'll start off with A Mirror For Observers by ivorygates and then post our other selections later for you to read and discuss at your own pace. As always, feel free to jump into an older discussion, even if we have "officially" moved on. There are no deadlines and the discussion never stops, just pauses for a while.
A Mirror For Observers is one of my all-time favorite Stargate SG-1 stories (as previously recced here), centering around Daniel Jackson, his parallel universe equivalent, Danielle Jackson, and those ever elusive and mysterious Furlings. My rec has a longer summary and warnings, which some of you expressed an interest in when you completed our poll. Due to the length of the story, we will put up a separate post for the discussion of each chapter. Please feel free to join in at any point, whether you've finished or not.
