Aw, poor Bob! *hugs his skull*

A wonderful, wonderful little look at how the doll could've come to be in the box. :)

Whoa. Whoa. Well, that didn't work out quite as planned, did it? Poor Harry. Poor Bob, being forced not to say anything.

Poor Bob, indeed. Can you imagine having that knowledge and being bound to silence?

That's the only reason Bob wouldn't have told Harry--if he was forced into silence. He'd never have let that secret, or its implicit danger to Harry, otherwise. I'm sure that he would have told Harry if he could.

Damn you, Morningway. What a bastard you are. I'm so glad that Malcolm Dresden's son ended up kicking your ass.

Bob would have found some way to break it to Harry, gently and when he thought it was "safe" to do so. Not have him stumble across the realization in such a sudden, terrible way.

::headdesk headdesk headdesk:: How, I ask you how did it not occur to me that Justin ordered Bob not to say anything? Seriously... I feel like an utter moron.

Thank you for fitting that piece in. I am eternally grateful to you.

::is so stupid::

To be honest, it took me a while to figure it out myself. I've written at least one fic where Harry confronts him and demands to know why Bob never told him when clearly he knew. This particular plot bunny suddenly bit me with a great big - D'OH! - moment.
