Oh, Harry .

Lovely piece of writing here. I don't care if it's been done to death. I loved this.

Thank you very much. It's just one of those scenes that I can't get out of my head.

Done to death? Bah! I swear this scene gets better and better and more emotional with every person that does it.

It does, doesn't it? It speaks as much for the actors as the writers, I think, that it keeps inspiring.

That was beautiful. And I agree with terion. I think the more people write this, the better the scene gets. And you just upped the emotion, so congrats. Nice job.

Excellent piece, beautiful and well written, both this and it's companion :)

the lean body sighing away the last remaining breath of borrowed mortality.
that is a wonderful discription.

Thank you muchly. I'm afraid quite a number of my muses are angst bunnies, and this scene just cries out to them.

*sniff* Poor Harry, I can just feel his breakdown, thinking he'd lost the one remaining person that he loved, like he told fake Murphy in that episode (things that go bump?).

That's part of what inspired this pair of stories, which are basically two sides of the same coin. Harry's telling the fake Murphy that if anything were to happen to Bob . . . and then that emotional silence when he can't find the words to describe exactly how devestating that would be.
