So incredibly sad! Bob's Harem may not react well, but it's a fantastic story & I love it!!

Thank you. It is sad, true; I think Bob had to endure quite a number of horrible masters and situations before being "rewarded" with Harry.

I agree, he can't have 'lived' for that long without greedy, horrible masters. It's a great story!

As tragic as this is (and it's heartbreaking), this was the line that I found most telling:

Even his skull--part of his physical body--isn't his. He owns so little: his thoughts, his sarcasm, his heart. And a curse he'd just as soon get rid of.
