Author's Notes: Talia and Jason, despite all of the ways they shouldn’t make sense, just ring true to me. Their motives are so intertwined, and there is true genuine caring there. They both so desperately need and deserve that bond and that family, something almost stable, in between all of the other crazies that make up their families. And, there was one panel, in Red Hood: Lost Days #1 that just had such an impact on me. Talia crying over his death, because to me, she isn’t a woman that shows emotion readily, at least not emotions that would make her appear weakened. And....that’s just how I see it.
