On Finished Object

Started: Too long ago, I think in September
Finished: 16th November 2006
Yarn: Lana Grossa's Merino 2000, 100% Merino wool, two balls each of the following colours: #444, #519, #521
Needle: 4.5 mm Addi Turbo circs
Pattern: 4x2 rib scarf from MarQ1
Yay! At last, it's finished. I've been knitting on this scarf for waaaaaaaaaay too long. Well, it was worth it and I'm loving the scarf....can't wait to wear it (I can't right now, because the weather had turned warm. Yes, 20 degrees centigrade warm in the middle of November!)
Anyway, I used up what I could of the six balls of yern...and you wouldn't believe how long the scarf turned out:
4.50 metres!
Yes, four metres and fifty centimetres long!!!!! I could wrap it about 6 times around my neck! *LOL* I just knitted and knitted and I didn't know what I was going to do with the little bit of yarn left, so I decided to use up as much of the yarn as I could and so the result is this super long scarf!
Hey, but I'm happy about it. And now I've started the scarf for Frank.
Well, nothing to tell. It's just day to day life for me at the moment, that's why I haven't been blogging.
