Okay, forget about the Gollum part, I'm not going to talk about it here. *winks*
Last night, we went to see
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. I've read the book in my first year here in Munich and found it fascinating. I can't remember the exact content of the book any more but a vague recollection of the story loosely. Needless to say, I was actually excited about the movie...but was a tad disappointed after having seen it last night (sorry,
Desyl...but that's just my opinion). I like the story as a whole, but all this narrative style in the movie just bored me to death.
Anyway, before we go to the movie's, I and Frank went to grab something to eat from the Thai Imbiss down by the
Stachus U-Bahn Station. Pretty nice to have Thai food again, since I haven't properly cooked anything (apart from Risotto) ever since I've moved into this place. And the place wasn't bad either....but it's just the fact that I tend to keep myself away fromt the Thais when I'm out and about, so I don't really frequent such places that much.
After that we went to
Hertie (yes, guys, we still have Hertie in Munich!) and browsed through the wine section. Tasted some
Ruinart Champagne (all three: Brut, Brut Rosé and the Blanc de Blancs) and Frank got us two different bottles of
Port, one for him and one for me (how sweet is that?!). We tried both of the bottles last night....and they were both yummy! :-)
So not much anymore....The last thing I could mention is that I got a phone call this morning...which I could rant about, but I don't really want to waste my breath on it. Maybe I'll save it for another time. Better go take a shower and head over to the library.
Have a great day!
