I started my revisions yesterday. I only had two hours to work so I only got through the first chapter, but I think I'm off to a pretty good start. I rewrote the first page and then through simple tightening, cut about 750 words from it. Right now I'm at the stage where I'm excited about revisions and feeling good about my book. Wonder how long that'll last...
Anyway, my goal today is to get the next two chapter done. Then tomorrow I'll work on chapter 4 which needs a complete rewrite to fit with a change I made through the book. Shouldn't be too hard though. I know mostly how I'm gonna tackle it.
Today was a gorgeous day. Lots of sunshine, not too cold. So after I dropped T off at school, I took my first walk on the nature trail since winter. I've really missed my walks. When I got back to my car, I was all invigorated and ready for the day. Hopefully the rain we're supposed to get tomorrow holds off long enough for me to get my walk in.
