Excuse me, everyone. I have an announcement to make:
I finished my book!!!!!
116000 / 116000 words. 100% done!
One day earlier than I'd hoped and in 4,000 words less than I thought it'd take. And to think, just last week I was stressing about whether or not I'd be able to make it in under 120K.
I still have to revise, of course. And I'll start that after I take a week off from anything writing related. But this time I am positive I'll come out of revisions without realizing I need to start from scratch and rewrite. Because this time I did it. I made it work and it's a million times better than the draft I finished a year and a half ago.
