Thank You :) I was hoping it would turn out okay. The fandom is Lonesome Dove. It's a big Western from the late 80's. These two characters are actually both minor characters in the movies but they're in it enough to where you can clearly tell there is something between them. Dish is lusting over a prostitue named Lorena throughout the whole series and Jasper can't stand the woman. Everytime Dish mentions the girl he throws some kind of insult at the girl's expense in Dish's direction. He calls her a whore multiple times and it starts a physical fight every time he does it. At the end Dish tries to go back across the country from where the cattle drive they're on left Lorena and Jasper says out loud in a very rough tone "He's going back for that blonde headed whore!" Dish confronts him and tells him he'll beat him if he doesn't take that back, and you can tell in Jasper's eyes that he just gives up there. Throughout the rest of the movie he's missing Dish so much that he tries to start up those little fights with the other cowboys as well, but he just seems so sad after Dish leaves. It's really heart breaking. Anyway if you ever wanna check it out the whole series is on Netflix. Oh! Here's the sad scene where Dish leaves Jasper for the girl.
