Summary: Rafe and Anne's house just isn't big enough to fit everyone in their family for Christmas dinner anymore.
Christmas dinner was always a huge deal on the Crazy Woman Ranch, especially since they had such a large extended family. In the past they had tried gathering at Rafe and Anne's house, but once JT and Rock started growing their family, and Rock's entire family had moved to the ranch from Ireland, Rafe and Anne's home just didn't fit everyone anymore.
So this year, they'd come up with a solution. Christmas dinner would be held at JT and Rock's big luxurious log ranch house. It was more than big enough to fit their family, Rafe, Anne, their kids and Joe, Rock's family, and JT and Rafe's family who were coming up from Texas. It also had plenty of room in the barn for all the wagons and horses, but the crown jewel of their house was the fact that the entire place was child proofed, and when you have over twenty kids running around a house, it pays to have the place child proofed, especially when most of those children had a bad habit of playing with breakable things.
