Claire smiles as her little baby finished getting ready. Kate tied up the last shoe and he was up and ready to go.
"Aren't you the cutest monster ever?" she comments happily.
Kate turns around, noticing her as if for the first time. Aaron is holding a tight grip on her hand, and he doesn't let go as he goes up and grabs Claire with his free hand.
"Shall we?" Kate asks.
Claire was doubtful; but the warmth of his tiny hand was such... nothing could be wrong about a feeling this good. This really was her Aaron.
"We shall."

"Don't get so worked up" she laughs. "I love it."

"Interesting plan. Here's a counter-offer: we don't fight the zombies, since we're not Buffy and, at least I, don't want to die, so we run like crazy to Spike's crypt and seek protection there."
