She watched as the newborn realized that she was approaching him, traveled her body with his eyes, and then smiled. "Please." Faith snorted her derision and gripped her stake more firmly, itching to plant it into the Vampire's heart. "You couldn't have handled half of me when you were alive." She took pleasure in watching his horror grow as she flipped into the air and staked the Vampire behind him and to his right before coming down in front of him. "Now, you're just pathetic." Her dark eyes rolled as he turned to run and she drove her stake home.

After all, she had lowered every one of her standards to date him, and he had returned that kindness by stabbing her in the heart.
Wincing, Xander looked away. He wouldn't tell her that a picture could never compare to the lifetime he'd almost had with the Queen of Sunnydale.
