She sashays teasingly in the sunlight before him. "You know you liked it better than you ever did with her."
"I would've," he admits, longing rumbling in the soul the blonde Slayer still tells him, far too often, he doesn't have, "if I'd known it was you."
Her full, dark lips smirk at him. "You knew something was wrong."
"Not wrong," he corrects, "different." She quirks an eyebrow. He growls at the twist of her hips but, then, actually grins. "Buffy was never that wild." He'll cherish the memories of that night together even more because it was her and not Summers.

"Go ahead. Admit it. You liked it, and you want more." Her prancing, confident steps are a dance to pounding music only they can hear.
"I tend to take what I want." Spike snarls his lust, then reaches out into the daylight. The sunlight immediately enflames his arm, but he's quick as he pulls her into the shadows with him. "Like a certain Slayer I know." Faith grins as he slams his lips down onto hers. She stops the physical fire, but another's starting between their mouths. Her blood is fire, and she likes the way he makes it roar.

Silver moonlight washes over blue fur, and Bobby's breath steals. He wishes they didn't have to hide their love away like this as his beloved Hank turns on classical music and turns to him. He lets him sweep him into a dance and soon forgets his reasons for being upset as Hank's lips plunder his.
As the lovers make love under the moonlight, their teacher pulls away from their minds. He smiles behind steepled fingers, but then his eyes turn sad again as he turns back to memories and the longing for his own love, Erik, that never leaves him.

The Guardians smiled while watching children running around in the bright, early morning sunlight after eggs.
"No frost this year," EB remarked, looking curiously, and pointedly, at Jack. His left ear twitched.
Jack shrugged. "Not this year. I figured you went through enough drama last Easter." His grin broadened. "But I was thinking next Easter would be an excellent time for a famous blizzard -- "
Growling, EB darted after Jack. "You wouldn't!"
Laughing, Jack floated backwards on the Spring breeze. "You know I would."
"Hmph. Sometimes, I think we have our own children." Santa smiled.
"You know we do," Tooth Fairy hummed. Sandy grinned.

Moonlight guides them to their destination. They pull their guns and position, each on one side of the door, and their eyes meet. A million unsaid words pass through their locked gaze. They have each other's backs; they'll gladly die for one another. They don't know exactly what they'll find behind this door, but they'll save the day again. They'll win this mission, and every one that follows, together. They'll keep fighting only as long as the other one can, always beside each other and loving one another. Then they knock down the door, and it's business again as usual.

They meet in moonlight every night, claws, Batarangs, fists, and whips flying. They meet again in the persuing sunlight each time. They're always careful to cover their scratches and hide their injuries, but they note on their lover where they've placed bandages over the marks they left on them. They don't talk about the injuries. They can have black eyes or broken ribs but never speak about them for fear that the other will realize exactly who they are. They think they're hiding, but Alfred smiles as he watches them together, knowing Master Wayne has met his match at last.
