Summary/Notes: Bill and Sookie spend some time totally alone.
A smile curled the corners of his mouth as he stepped out into the bright moonlight. Bill was happy. He and Sookie would spend the next two weeks, totally alone without interference from anyone... human or vampire, under the completely common name of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Sookie glanced over her shoulder at her ‘husband’. “Why Mr. Smith, I think you’re enjoying playing this name game.”
Bill quickly pulled her towards him and placed a lingering kiss on her lips. “Not at all, Mrs. Smith. I am simply willing to do whatever it takes to spend time alone with you.”

It had been a lot of years since he had spent time in the light of day, felt the heat of the sunlight warm his skin. At first Bill had thought he would go insane at the loss of light but he had gotten used to living in the shadows and seeing only the moonlight.
But all that had changed when he’d met Sookie. He no longer had to exist on memories or longings of what he missed being human. Now he could smell the sunlight on her skin and taste it on her lips every time he kissed her.

She closed her eyes as memories assailed her.
For a brief moment time had stood still, the only thing in her world was him. She knew immediately what he was and she hadn’t cared. The minute she’d seen him she was hit by a wave of longing so intense it almost brought her to her knees.
Bill was a vampire.
He was her vampire.
Sookie’s eyes flew open.
They would never be over.
