Summary/Notes: What she wants she can never have.
My heart skipped a beat as the sunlight streamed through the window turning his hair from dark brown to golden where the rays caressed it. All I could think of was how badly I wanted to reach out and touch him, to run my fingers through his hair and press my lips against his.
But I couldn’t. I knew better.
Touching, especially skin to skin contact, was a no-no for me. I’d lived with that knowledge for years but since I’d met him it was getting harder and harder to remember to keep my hands, and everything else, to myself.

The minute the moonlight began to filter through the window, Mick began to speak.
“You don’t own me, you know. Just because you sired me...”
Josef quickly interrupted. He was at a loss as to what had brought this on. “Resired.”
Mick waved his hand dismissively. “It doesn’t mean that you and I will have that sort of relationship.”
Oh! Josef sat his glass down on the table before he walked slowly and deliberately towards Mick. “But it doesn’t mean we can’t either... if we want to. Now does it?”
“I... uh...”
Josef smiled. “I’ll take that as a no.”
