But Elena was special and somehow against all odds they had become friends. And wouldn’t you know, it didn’t take him long to almost ruin it. But thankfully she had forgiven him.
And now while they didn’t quite have the romance he was after, the emotion was there and he was working on it. Damon was almost positive all it would take was a little communication.
