Kate watched the little yellow bird flitting about in the front yard and thought about how there had never been any little birdies on the island.
To tell the truth, almost everything she saw reminded her of the island whether she was watching a show with Aaron about polar bears or grocery shopping with Claire and wishing they could find some Apollo bars.
Whenever she tried to talk to Sawyer about her seeming obsession (there were some things she and Claire just did NOT talk about) he would change the subject.
She guessed that they had all lost too much.
