As promised, here are my collection of DVDs! I started this craze two years ago while I was curious eating at an obscure cafe. It's obscure because I rarely seen many people eating there. It is a Western food and Coffee shop with cookies available for anyone who is/are interested in eating it. Yet, I haven't revisit that place, I'm wondering how it is the last time I visit it...
That is the time where I'm curious about a place a kilometer from where I ate at. It is your run-of-the-mill mall, except that it sells DVDs from various movies and TV series. Yup, you read it right. The rest of the story can be predicted: I bought DVDs of TV series there. While I facepalmed myself for them not having the DVDs I expected them to sell, I thought to myself "Hey, this isn't bad! Let's collect DVDs!" And as of now, I have LOTS of DVDs! However, my collection of series isn't limited to DVDs only, but there are series that I have in my Laptop HDD. I'd like to burn them on my DVD-Rs so that whenever something bad happens to my Laptop, I can just play the DVD :p
Whatever, let the picspam commence!
(These DVDs are listed in random order regardless when I bought it)
COUNT THE DVDs! *sudden shy*
My collection includes those with super powers, those who save lives, those desperate housewives, those Tree Hill teens, a lawyer and the Darling family he's working for, some certain Upper East Side socialites, and... Tyra with her girls! This is complete with *gulp* chick flicks (I call it complete sleepover ammunition when Twilight becomes too mainstream)...
First season of Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell <3!), two seasons of Reaper, Supernatural (Winchesters fuck yeah! \m/), Private Practice, Ugly Betty (who can't forget Betty?), Privileged, another Heroes, Lost, Ghost Whisperer (Sellers? Y U put too many of JLH's boobs?) another DSM, Gilmore Girls (Gilmore forever!), Lipstick Jungle, another Gossip Girl, amd 90210.
Oh, wait. Did I forgot to mention Tyra and her girls again?
MY taste may contradict yours, but who cares? Next on the batch are Vampire Diaries, Castle, Skins, Heroes again, Melrose Place, Tyra and her girls again, Top Gear (yeah, I'm a bit Gearhead/Petrolhead too), Life Unexpected (Shit, Britt Robertson makes me go <3!), Pretty Little Liars, Nikita, and Parenthood.
The list still goes on...
Necessary Roughness, Bunheads, Body of Proof (there's Dana Delany!), Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Chloe King, Ringer, The Big C, New Girl, Girls, The Lying Game, Teen Wolf, The Secret Circle, Hart of Dixie, Jane by Design and Rizzoli and Isles (yay Rizzles!)
And as you know, I'm also into Japanese animes and tokusatsus, especially Gundam series. Current Gundam series I have are Gundam X, Wing, 00, AGE (there are just 12 FREAKING EPISODES OUT OF 40-something!!!), SEED, and SEED Destiny. Tokusatsus include Kamen Rider W and Fourze (I still have another tokusatsus but they're in my HDD), and last but not least are Code Geass and Initial D.
These are half of the latest DVD loots; Pushing Daisies and True Blood. Pushing Daisies is kinda bit hard to find because it's an old series. I feel it's my calling to buy it, so there it is. The series is quite enjoyable TBH. Meanwhile for True Blood, I remember I've downloaded the first episode of the first season and then I couldn't stand the "exagerrated making love scene" between Sookie and Bill. I don't mind if they were wearing clothes, but shit, this was just too much for my eyes! Years later, I got into the True Blood bandwagon after I watch this on TV, with Season 3 currently airing there.
The last half of my latest loot. Buffy and LOST GIRL!!! DAMN IT, I WAS WRONG!!! The reason I bought these is not only are they both Sci-Fis, but they are both cult series. I'm curious with both of them...
Well, that's it for today. We hope you have the same taste like I do.
PS: Congrats to
Joan Watson for her Fandom March Madness title! I wish you the best next year! Sort of...
