The Lighthouse, and the museum and gift shop were open. Tully was ready to show people the tower, or sell them stuff. The museum was a self guided tour. In the gift shop could be found just about any kind of Lighthouse knick knacks. Plus books and videos ( Read more... )

The Museum had displays about the history of the Fandom/Gnu Light in particular, and Chesapeake Bay Light Houses in general, as well as a gift shop and a bit of an art gallery (all stuff with light houses of course ( Read more... )

Soon, reletively speaking, the tower would be ready for the light to be reinstalled. So today Tully was examining the fairly complicated mount and mechanism for it. There was a lot of work to be done here.

Murdock was at the lighthouse bright and extra early. He felt the need to make up for totally spacing and not coming by last week.

He was checking the wiring, fixing the plaster and anything else he could think of that needed doing.
