Piper was very grateful when Weevil opened Caritas extra early so she could decorate and set up for Veronica's surprise party.

She was also relieved when Tino informed her that Veronica would be late. Not that she was going to have to work anyway. It's her birthday party after all.

Nadia dropped off an unwrapped purse with two small wrapped presents inside.

She'd expected to have to mail those. For Veronica's next birthday. Funny how things worked out.

Seras wasn't all that well acquainted with Veronica, but the other girl had been kind to her during the whole tentacle demon episode.

And, a birthday was a birthday, after all.

So, Seras popped by Caritas and dropped off a gift.
