Zoe had stopped by All and Sundries on her way to the town hall, and was now armed with a whiteboard and pen. She almost called out to Braca when she spotted him, but caught herself just in time, and began writing as she got to him.

Glad to see you're here. We have a situation.

Braca nodded, figuring he had a fair idea what the situation was. As he didn't have a board, he picked up a sheet of paper from a report that was left lying on his desk and wrote on the other side;

I was hoping it wasn't just me. Do you know what is going on?

Zoe shook her head and went back to writing.

Everyone in town is affected, from what I've seen, but there's been nothing to explain why. Have you seen anything strange going on today?

Frowning, Braca tried to remember if he head, but he came up empty. With a shake of his head, he started writing.

No. Although that might be considered strange for this town.

Braca needed to get to the station right away. He was already half way through the door when he realised that he wouldn't be able to talk to them. So he made a detour on his way out to one of the storage closets. As it was the weekend, all of the office supplies were neatly stacked away and Braca figured they would need the extra paper to communicate ( ... )
