"Maybe a little. Suppose I should do something to try and cool off, huh?" He dropped the towel and knapsack he brought with him and pulled off his shirt.
"Yep. Hot day, beach, pretty girls in bikinis on the beach... It was the proverbrial offer I couldn't refuse." He grinned, toeing off his shoes and undoing his jeans to reveal that he had dark blue swim trunks on underneath.
"Yes," Dean said straight faced, spreading his towel out and dropping down next to her. "Well and maybe some actual swimming. It's been a while and it's not every day I have an ocean to swim in."
Dean seemed to give it some thought. "The Pacific always seemed a little colder to me, but that could've just been the time of year we were there. But generally, not much difference. Freaking huge body of salt water, feels good when it's hot out."
"Yep." Dean grinned. "Gotta be prepared after all -- never know when you're going to have to take down the Creature from the Black Lagoon or something."
"If I get attacked by one while I'm swimming, I totally blame you, you know," she laughed, "although I'd bet money it'd come out of the pond over the ocean."
