Cafe Fina, evening
After a rather... interesting week, Alfred was looking forward to taking a little break when he returned to Fandom. Business as usual. Everything as it should be.
Of course, it wasn't. And he chided himself for being foolish enough to believe it would be. It wasn't difficult to figure out who had paid for the remodling and modernization. Especially when they had been foolish enough to order a number of hibachi's stamped with the company logo.
Then again, it was likely they weren't looking for secrecy, considering the card. A fortnight early, perhaps, but the gesture was well appreciated.
Now to inspect the "other" rooms that had been added by the contractors.
These were the interesting ones.
Cafe Fina was not open.
