Caritas, Wednesday Evening

Jun 07, 2006 18:13

Jarod closed his umbrella as he walked into Caritas, leaving it by the door. Then there were the butterflies, which, although pretty, had gotten kind of stuck to the umbrella via the pudding that had been falling from the sky, a heretofore unheard of meteorological phenomenon. He spent the next ten minutes gently loosening the butterflies from the umbrella.

Once that was taken care of and in the interest of finding out anything about what was going on, he was reading a few back newspapers that had been left at the Sin by its patrons. While finding that there was a complete lack of information on an incoming lumpy pudding and butterfly front that was due to stall over the Alexandria area, he was drawn in by the story of a nine-year-old soccer player on the mainland.

Jarod sighed, and waited for the patrons. He was beginning to think he had somewhere else to be.
