Lucas opened empire and settled down behind the counter with a stack of fashion magazines. After all, he was dating a girl who knew more about fashion than anyone else he'd ever met. He needed to be up to date.

Jamie entered the store and shouted a hearty "Kumquats" to Lucas in greeting.

He then proceeded to multiply and start to regorganize all the CD's in the store by color.

Lucas looked up from his GQ and stared at Jamie for a long moment.

"What are you doing?"

"The Funky Chicken!" one of the Jamie's shout back.

Suddenly all the Jamies in the store stop reorganizing the shelves and do the "The Funky Chicken" for two minutes straight.

Then they get back to work on reorganizing the store again.

Lucas sighed. "You haven't been eating from the box labeled 'extra-extra special brownies, do not eat' have you?"

Lucas had relabeled the latest batch after seeing Elle and the blue guy. He still had to have words with Eddie on that one.

Elle bounced in wearing a pink plastic see through rain slicker and hot pink rain boots. She left her pudding splattered umbrella by the door.

"Lucas! Did you see? It's raining pudding! Why can't it do this on Africa and help all those people who need to eat?" she asked cheerfully as she stripped out of her bad weather gear.

"I did see it. I get the feeling this is one of those 'only in Fandom' things, though." Lucas set his magazine to one side with a smile. "Hi, Elle,"

"Hmm, that's just weird. I wonder if it's vegan friendly." she pondered, cocking her head to the sid and becoming vacant for just a moment while she lost herself in deep thoughts.

She snapped back and blinked, then smiled as she flounced over to him and moved to throw her arms around him. "Hi, Lucas." she said softly.

Lucas hugged her back happily. "You're not here to drag me to another concert, are you?" Please?

Lucas blinked placidly up from his magazine, then sat abruptly upright.

The Man was in his store.

"Um, can I help you?"

CONFORM!!

"Uhm, yes I'm from several years in the past and was curious as to what new artists had arisen since the late 70's." he said. "And possibly buy a bidet."

"You've . . . missed a lot of quality music since then. And we dont' sell bidets. Who did you like to listen to in the seventies?"
