Soon after the flight workshop with a quick detour to restore his hair to the proper colour, Peter entered the bookstore as well. "Good day to you, Lady," he said with a bow.
"It was fun I hope since it just started. I know nothing about anything in there, but Anakin seems like a good teacher." He said with a smile in return. "And how has your morning been?"
Clark showed her a list printed in the Planet article. "I just heard that these, among other books are being banned in some public schools." clark said. "So I thought I'd buy them in a small act of protest." Even as mild mannered Mr. Kent, he crusaded for truth, justice and the american way. Among the books were The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Catcher in the Rye, and The DaVinci Code.
"I'm not familiar with that last one." Clark admitted.
Lana shook her head. "I don't understand this whole book banning thing. I've read most of the books myself. The last some people see as an attack on the Catholic Church, but really... it's a work of fiction. And honestly, I prefer his earlier book. I'm glad to sell you the books though. Come on."
She led the way around the store collecting books on the list. "Now do you want all of them or just a selection?"
