Later, in a mostly empty park because the demon isn't in this just yet Crowley came out to enjoy the sunshine and feed the ducks who crowded in for tasty bits of pumpernickel and sourdough. In his pocket was a small bag of chicken livers, for one special friend.
Gwynn had gotten bored at the school and was now wandering the park. It was nice to be outside in the open and she decided she and Peter really would have to explore the woods and get better acquainted with this island if they were going to be here for any length of time.
She noticed one man sitting and feeding the ducks and she bowed her head in greeting.
"Good morrow, fine lady." he said with a gentle grin. The sun had warmed him to the point of drowsiness and the sounds of the world lulled him into total relaxation. He lolled his head back to stare at her from behind dark glasses. "Where do you come from, pet? I haven't seen you around here before."
