The Perk- Sunday afternoon

This was probably Jaina's last excuse to come back here before she had to figure out how to travel via the mess that was Portalocity with kids, though the mess that was Portalocity meant that she didn't get in until late last night. Since today was the first time in a while she was able to do things on her own time, she didn't get out of her room

"Jaina!" Anakin said, beaming as he walked into the Perk. "What a nice surprise!"

"Taking the opportunity to show up while I can," she said, standing up for a hug.

[sith_happened]

"How much longer?" he asked, hugging her back. "You look great."

He'd gotten better talking to pregnant women over the years, thank goodness.

[solo_sword]

"July," she said. "And then it's on to the sleep deprivation."

[sith_happened]

"That only lasts about ten years or so," Anakin said, nodding.

[solo_sword]

"Oh, just what I wanted to hear."

She might be teasing?

"So how was graduation?" she asked, taking a seat again.

[sith_happened]

"The guest speaker turned into a giant snake, so...about normal?" Anakin replied.

[solo_sword]

"Yeah, that could have been a lot worse," Jaina considered. "Scary that we can say that..."

[sith_happened]

"We've seen a lot of stuff in our time here," Anakin said with a snicker. "My class fought a sentient inflatable gremlin."

[solo_sword]

"I can't remember what happened at min- ohhhh wait, I had to sing Celine Dion onstage." That was punctuated with a facepalm, of course.

Anakin burst out laughing. "That was a good one."

[solo_sword]

"Don't think I can't remind you some of your more embarrassing moments," Jaina said dryly.

Anakin made a face. "There have been a few," he admitted, "but nothing as good as Luke thinking he was some kind of circus performer."

Poor Artoo.

[solo_sword]

"I still have a copy of that," she said with a lopsided smile, sipping her tea.

[sith_happened]

"It's one of Juliet's favorite holos to watch," Anakin said.

A+ parenting, there, Anakin.

"Has she ever brought it up to him?" Jaina wondered.
