The Silence was back. It was staring at Lucille from the top of a shelf when she entered, and she defiantly stared back. Obviously there was no point in trying to play any music today, so Lucille just sat down behind the counter and looked through some of the books instead.

The Silence didn't move while Lucille was watching, but she was going to blame it for the disappearance of her lunch sandwich.
