Shiemi finally found a nice place with enough open space that she didn't have to worry and set her things down. She began spreading a blanket. "I don't want to, Nee-chan. But I am going to have to let you go while I do this." She knelt and reached for her bag, pulling out the sheets of paper she'd been working on at the flower shop earlier.
"Nee?" Her familiar jumped from the top of her head to the ground to help. "NeEE."
"I'm worried, too. But I don't know if I have enough strength to hold you and summon anyone else." She was planning on only calling smaller golem-type demons but it was still dangerous. Demons were dangerous. It was hard enough dealing with demons for normal people, but a Tamer had to not only be stronger than the demon he or she called, but to have no fear and not lack confidence.
Sheimi shook her head and sent Nee-chan to gather rocks while she looked through the circles she had copied.
If the Tamer wavered at all, the demon could take over the Tamer or attack them... or run away into the world and cause troubles. Shiemi had actually seen this happen; Kamiki-san's familiars had turned against her and refused to serve her.
"That's if I can summon anything at all," She reminded herself as she set out one of the larger, simpler circles. Nee-chan helping now to weight it down with the rocks he'd found. She thanked him and then pulled a small piece of paper from her coat pocket and, with great reluctance, ripped it in half. Nee-chan disappeared in a puff of smoke. She hated doing that; even though she knew she could call him back, it still hurt.
"Now." She sat back, taking a deep breath, and reached for her book bag again. She could do this! "What was the summoning for Snowman?"
[open! She won't ACTUALLY summon anything today!]
