But a customer came in with a box full of gaming console bits, and demanded she build him something that was compatible with the new Nintendo system, instead. Peridot had no idea what that even meant, but she was willing to give it a try.
When at the end of the day she had created a floating sphere with legs that could play every Nintendo game going back since the start of the company's video game history... except for games from the Switch? Well, it wasn't like she could figure out what those needed without having at the very least the schematics for the new system. The guy was going to just have to get put on back-order along with the rest of the planet.
