A few days ago, Lucille had brought to Peridot's attention that if it didn't eat or lay eggs, the mechanical duck that Peridot had made... wasn't a real duck.

Which, for Peridot, was really only seen as a challenge. If anybody wanted her today, she'd be making use of the workshop in order to update the robo-duck, so that it would do more than just walk and occasionally say 'quack.'

Now... what were eggs made of? And how to get the little machine to convert whatever its food intake was into that...

This one was a head-scratcher, for sure.
