The packages were on strike.
Tip tried to point out that they were, you know, packages, and already nearly at their destination, so a strike seemed kind of silly. Also, striking usually involved demands for higher wages or better working conditions, neither of which the packages had since they were, you know, packages.
But no. They refused to budge.
Tip hoped no one was expecting anything urgent larger than a letter, today.
