They had agreed not to spend this short time arguing about the choices they both had made, but that left them with the fact that they didn't know each other. Oh, Leto knew his father's memories, but that was not the same as knowing him as a father, or rather the man who had never been a father to him. Paul Atreides didn't know his son at all, and his blindness prevented him from even seeing him.
